is it possible to use the original inlet manifold on a 18RC when putting on a pair of extracotrs of the 18rg.
if i cant what can i do instead?
ps. has anyone got a weber for a 18RC?

an 18rg is a cross flow head that means the inlet manifold is on the opposite side to the exhaust manifold.I.E you dont need to worry about extractors interfearing with the inlet manifold. anyway the 18r-c inlet manifold will NOT fit on the 18rg.
opps u have a 18r c. i dont think that the 18rg extractors fit on the 18rc motor. usually 18rc extractors will fit on the 18rc motor without modifications to the inlet manifold (they are designed not to need them)

Have you had a look at the position of the pipes on both. You will see the the exhaust on number 2 and 3 cylinder on the 18R-C are right next to each other. The exhaust outlets for and 18RG are evenly spaced. I have a set of extractors and an inlet manifold with a weber carbie on it for an 18R-C, if you want. Let me know?
