That looks sweet...
I wouldn't mind one of the AE92 two door Rolla's... But I wonder what the insurance would be and how hard would it be to find parts...

Damn that looks cool.
My g/f is actually interested in a 2-door AE82, but $7k is a bit much atm.. Any ideas if that one is standard or modified? Looks like a white interior??!
Ben - I don't know that much about insurance on imports, but parts wise everything from the A-Pillar forwards should be inter-changeable. Floor-pan should be the same, so mechanics (ie. brakes etc could be swapped over, but finding rear panels would be a bitch if you were ever tail-ended in a prang. On a similar note, I met someone in QLD years ago who had one of those Corolla II's (with the pop-up lights). She'd had to replace a head-light, and lets just say it wasn't pretty (ie. you'd be looking at more than the cost of $printer headlights!! )

Yeah, everything from the A pillar foreward looks to be the same but the rear quarters, doors and the rear end's are apparently different... That was on the AE82 Models anyway...
I did see a two door AE92 in Bondi on Sat night and she looked sweet... The only differences that I could see where the rear quarters, rear windows and the doors... The rear of the car was identical...
Maybe I should try going to NRMA and seeing what it'd cost to get one insured ... I can imagine it'd cost a fortune...
