Hi all,
I was wondering if it were possible to fit a black top 20v head onto the silver top 20v head and use the ae111 wiring and ecu, is this possible? I saw a black top at a import shop the other weekend and the block was cracked around the engine mount under the cam wheels but the head looked fine, I just thought this might be easier to fit into an AE86 because it uses a MAP sensor and not an AFM so I could just put airfilter socks onto the end of the Quad throttles, plus it may give me a bit more power.

Have u seen the blacktop wiring b4? it aint like the silvertop, it engine loom is combined with the dash loom so can be very very tricky sorting it out
just abit of food for thought

sorry to dig up such an old thread.
was just flicking through an old zoom and found a starlet circuit car with a silvertop in it.
It states it's running an ems computer and map sensor.
How can this be possible?
Also looks like i have a TPS and throttle linkage from a 16v.
joy
Dom.
