At the moment Im making a custom dash for my sprinter and before I start fibreglassing I can mould in some gauges.
My car is N/A and is going to stay that way. What gauges should I put in and well lets face it should I even bother?

Fuel, Temp, Oil press, Voltmeter The last 2 really aren't needed and you would probable be better off running a light

unless your concern that your engine is gonna piss out oil and water at any given moment i would worry about gauges
you really only need oil pressure, tacho, and water temp:S

dumb question alert.. please be patient...
my 3sge has a very low pressure reading on the gauge. so I had it tested, and the pressure is fine in the engine, therefore, my sender isn't working properly.
Is this a big deal? Should I get a new sender off Toyota? You mentioned that is is impt to have the guage, so I am thinking, is it therefore important to have one that is working well

it's "important", in that if your engine is ever likely to get low pressure, it's a really good idea to know about it!
but on most engines, this generally happen at low oil levels.

speedo, tacho, water temp and oil pressure. then add oil temp{the best engine gauge to have} and fuel pressure and last, volts.

So, my pressure sender is stuffing up. Shall I risk a second hand one? (though mostly they get sold with the engines) or go straight and get a new one from Toyota?

i rarely drive of my speedo... you can judge your speed by your gear and what rpm you are doing...
although, i can pretty much feel all the speeds, i.e 60-70 and 100
