 Ignition Coil??

 I recently built a digital tacho, but cant fit it because Im mechanically inept. So all you people out there who know there way round a 4a-ge pleaaaze hlp me. I need to find the negative point on my ignition coil....WTF??

Well you only have 2 contacts to choose from so you should'nt have 2 many problems

Your coil is marked with positive and negative terminals.
The negative one would probably be marked with a - .

ahhhh, Ok. Its the thing that the ignition lead goes to. Well the lead goes from the coil to the distrib cap!
Where abouts are you? If your in brisbane maybe I can have a look for you.

what i'll do is, scan a pic of my engine bay and see if you cant point it out. I think iknow roughly what you mean but i will scan a pic just to be sure

Where abouts to you live mate? It might be easier if someone comes around and helps you!
Or just do as you said and scan that picture and post it.
