Well i bit the bullet today and got my plates - they arrive in the mail in about a week
thanks for all the good suggestions from the other thread - Ill pass over the other less clever ones though
Ended not getting 4 paws - way too expensive to try and get - and gt4sum was a no go which annoyed me
Ended up getting plain Old " ST185 " and got it Cheep ! Didnt think it was available , seeing toyota usually pick up those sort of plates - but after a little talk to a good friend at vicroads - they were able to secure it for me - YAY! 
So - Dyno day will see my Gt4 with the group a Bumper ON - getting that this weekend if all goes to plan - and " st185 " on the nose
its a good celica week for me !

Well as soon as i ve got the $250 i'll be getting MYMK28U or quikmk2.
What do u reckon which would pss u off more if i beat u in a drag?
As if getting beaten by a 76 corona aint enough

You could have wrc205 or st205 - two simple plates
coronamk2 - youe only allowed 6 letters or numbers as far as i know so both of them wont fit

nah u can have up to 7 in perth,
I've got the leaflet thing.
If you get these custom slimline or some shh u can get up to 12.
they look gay though platic plates with metal car dont go.

My mate has the NSW plates gt4sum, u can get em, someone just must of had them in vic all ready

in vic we cant have numbers in the middle of the plates - so thats why i couldnt get it - now that i think of it - i didnt ask for Gtfour ! - bugger !
