s13 wheels onto AE86? possible? or offset problem?

I've a friend selling some stock s13 wheels VERY cheap. (VERY VERY cheap) for me to put on my ae86.
Is the offset difference enough to be a problem?
I know I'm running mitsubishi starion wheels at the moment (which are definitely not standard sprinter offset)
Any ideas?

you definitely can't put them on.
the offset is too big at the front. it will rub your front struts.

I've used S13 wheels on mine - the offset IS wrong, they do look a bit silly, but they will fit... kinda...

how do you fit these wheels in your sprinter? I tried the other day to put some +40 offset wheels to mine, it still rub my strut even with 10 mm spacers.

If your hubs are modified to fit smaller offset, it will become harder to fit bigger offset wheels. (the smaller the offet the wheels will sit outward, the bigger, sit inward.)
Starion wheels are nice,and with nice offset too. +0 offset is very good for sprinter. +25 offset is for stock wheels only, stock wheels are only 5" wide. so when u fit wider wheels like 6" or bigger. u will need smaller offset to let the wheels sit outward, so that it won't rub anything.

Silvia offset is about +35mm from memory.

I've tried 2 sets of silvia 15s on mine, and they both fitted - the offset was awful, but they still JUST cleared with 195/50/15 tyres.

Hmmm ... I'm also trying to determine if mine are S13 wheels ...
Just fitted one on last night when they arrived ... fits fine but it looks like an inch too much inwards. Have yet to see if they scrub but I figure that these 14x6" being thinner should fit no probs.

those wheels looks good.
when i tried my wheels, i tried put my hands in on the back of the front wheels, the tyres are actually touching the strut. The car can still drive, but i can smell burnning tyre smell after 5 mins driving, that scary the sh*t outta me. especially they are retreads..
