well they are a 20 year old car... so no one must want them.
you'd be able to pick one up for like say.... 2k max for a mint one.
And there are heaps going around, because once again, it's a 20 y/o car!!!!
should be shit easy to pick one up.

I havent seen prestiges site but I think I know which one it is as I know the source.
It had a StartPrice \300,000 and a Final price \1,016,000 Yen
It was a GTAPEX Black Limited Edition.
There were only 500 of these ever made. hence limited. rare as hens teeth.
real collecors cars. The pics showed it even had the origional floor mats in excelent condition.
The ae86 are collectors cars now in japan. the best we will ever get from there at a decent price is rust buckets.
Good luck onthe hunt.
Cheers
Patrick

wouldn't be that bad ae86drift.... Yours was hand selected..
though the jdm ones I've seen real life are woeful.
for starters, the red one at tokyo motors was absolutely terrible.
The silver trueno coupe in adelaide was pretty nasty too.
Both of these cars demanded a price of about 10k, inclusive of repairs and on compliancing costs to get the car on the road. Dare I say that most aus spec sprinters were in better condition.
so I guess Pat1rc has a point.
ROCK ON.

not calling yours a rust buckets, but if u want a GENIUENE trueno and dun wanna pay more than 5 grand, then ur gonna get something thats been thrashed to hell and back and has enuf rust to turn the car into a pile of metal...
This trueno i saw on the kobe auctions was a GENIUENE Trueno GT-Apex, that was freakin mint...original floor mats and everything.... you would not expect to pay less than $17,000 for it
