picked up some metal polish on the weekend to do the bumpers and chrome strips on the corona

as corona owners know the little bit around the outside of the headlamp surrounds it chromed {plastic chromed anyway}
so i started to polish it and a bit of polish got onto the light gery inner part, after a bit of rubbing the grey bits started turning silver, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

so i kept going, see what happens after 6 hours of persistence

thanks guys, i just used autosol metal polish, it cost me $10
and an old bath towel for rags {i used almost all of it}

what i ended up doing was getting my cordless drill cutting a 6 inch by 1.5 inch wide strip of towel, wrapping about half of its width around the tip so about half hangs off the end {so is to not have and sharp bits hanging out}, put some autosol on it and went from there
