just go to a local truck stop and post up a msg on the board. there is always someone willing to bring it for you. did you mean 4 whells or a car?

So you mean (im in Adelaide by the way) that i can just ask a truck driver or company whos freighting something to Sydney/Melbourne if he/she would mind bringing me a front cut on their way back (for a price of course).
Is it really that easy/possible. Ive been told it would probably cost around $600 to get a shop to freight one to me.

The best way is to ask if there is a truck going to, or comming from what ever place that has some spare space. If they have space they will most likely transport the stuff for you (for a small fee of corse). This way they are still making some money where as if they just left the spare space, they would loose out!

Yeh I personally wouldnt give it to a truckie unless I knew em. Coz like Allan said they can take the stuff for themselves, unless they are truly honest people.
But once the stuff is in their hands they can pretty much do what they want with it and u cannot do anything if the wheels end up on his car.
