like most cars it depends on how you drive it. mine really drank it when I was driving it hard but when driving normally it didn't use much more than my celica used to.

Hmmm.. i'm actually selling the car I have with a 5M-E because I cannot afford the fuel bill
Not trying to turn you off or anything though! haha
Does depend how you drive it, if I drive like a grandmother then its half ok, soon as you give it a bit expect to take out a personal loan.
Me thinks of 3T-GTE Celica.. half the fuel, 4 times the power ...
Cheers

My 5M-E used to be much the same. Now I have a 2JZ-GTE with 3 times the power and I get 500+km to a tank. Figure that one out!

Yeah the 5M-E makes me feel like buying a KE corolla so I can afford to drive it all the time!

5M-GE and 6M-GE are an easy swap. 7M-GE is a bit harder but still fairly straightforward.

I was averaging about 500km's per tank "pre overly expensive and probably unnecisary rebuild"
Not quite sure what i'm getting now...just filled up yesturday so i'll let you know when i'm nearly empty as to how far she's gone on it.
BTW i always use BP ultimate.

6m-ge and 7m-ge use similar amounts of fuel to the 5m-e, but they do put out quite a bit more power.
is there a reason your gf wants a supra and not a /rolla/barina/swift/civic?
I only ask because it's rare to find girls these days with good taste in cars

nah. I chose this car only becoz it's damn cheap.
I buy the car only like buying rego's.
and I know it's in very good condition, coz it's from my mechanic's relative.
