Turbo Upgrade. Wed, 21 May 2003 12:42 Go to next message
Two Questions, Take for a example 3t-gteu with ct20 turbo at 10psi, if i replace that with a td05 from a evo2/3.. and run that at 10psi, will the ecu still get the mixtures right? or will i need a aftermarket.

2nd question, Drivers side window for a TT142 Corona, Are there any other windows that will fit it, or does someone have one availible?

different size turbos push different amounts of air at the same boost (this was covered recently in a different thread)

so if the evo turbo is bigger, at 10 psi it will be pushing more air at the same pressure, and hence not use the same ratios.

that said, as long as it's not too much bigger, the factory ecu should be able to cope with it

It would also depend on the efficiency. I'd imagine being a newer turbo that the TD05 would be more efficient at 10psi than a CT20 which is kinda old-skool Razz
