hi all can any one tell me what motor 1991 toyota cressida glx has in it do they come in a manual or are they all auto's and would a 1ggte be an good transplant thanks in advance knackers [Report message to a moderator]

7M-GE all are auto the 1G would fit but it wouldnt suit the car the 7M-GTE or 1JZ-GTE are your best bet search the forums there is LOADS of info on this... [Report message to a moderator]

I'd personally go for the 1JZ-GTE swap, its a well documented engine swap for the MX83 A handful of guys on these forums have already done it! Dan [Report message to a moderator]
