91 Celica power window wires Thu, 22 May 2003 14:19 Go to next message
hey all my alarms got a feature to wind up my windows via the remote. wats the go with the switches. first is it positive switched? and second what colour wire is it that runs to the wind up switches for both windows (the switches mounted in the drivers arm rest)

im assuming this is how it works switchs is pressed up closing the cuircut allowing 12 volts + to run through which causes the window to wind up.

both wire to the window motor are earthed until the elec window switch is opperated.

at this point on of them will be switched to a positive to make the window operate.

You best read through your install guide carefully otherwise you will blow fuses!

As fow which wire? you will need to get into the back of the main window switches and work it out for yourself.

If your switches are on your door then you will have to run wires into there.
