GT-Four expertise please! Fri, 23 May 2003 14:52 Go to next message
I wanted to find out the differences between the ST165 and the ST205, as far as the location of the turbo is concerned. Is it any different to this?

ST165 donk...

As far as i know - the 205 has a different head setup - and a different turbo - and it also produces a hell of a lot more horsies ..

the 165 block is more similar to a st185 setup - bar intercooler differences

If your looking at a frontcut for your conversion - the 205 is the best bet - but expect to pay alot for one

Interesting - thanks for the links. Wink

Looks like I shouldn't have any trouble with the CAI setup going from one engine to the other when it eventually goes in.

Another question - does anyone know the stock amperage of the ST205 alternator?

Cheers.
