the muffler has about had it on my sx rolla and I need a new one. the current one is the stock twin 1" pipes. what is the best size and type of muffler for a stock 4age?
Also i will be upgrading to a 20 valve down the track a bit so what would be a suitable muffler be for a 20 valve (silver top)?
cheers

I'd say you should wait until you get the 20V done and then go for a full exhaust system...
But how long is it gunna be before you get the 20V???

20 valve is looking to be in about 6 months over the summer break although it is not completely definite yet. is the exhaust manifold different on the 16v and 20v? just getting a rough idea of what is best for both engines.

Yeah, the manifold is different... I'm not sure about the flanged joint though, it might be the same, it might be different... I'd just wait until the 4AGE... If you want it to be louder for the time being, just throw on a tip or a different muffler + tip...

nah i'm not after a new muffler just for a noise as i was going to get one anyway i thought i might aswell get something decent. It should actually end up cheeper than replacing the stock twin pipe muffler also I rekon i might just wait, if i will need an entire exhaust for the 20Valve.
