Does anyone else have a boost guage that fogs up? My autometer ultralight silver face boost guage had always done it eh... rather annoying... just wondering if other ppl have this problem and if theres anything you can do about it?

If you take the glass piece out of it, spray it with some 'anti - fog' you can get it wherever they sell Ice Hockey gear. Players normally spray it onto their visors to stop their breathing fogging it up for them.
Hope it helps

Could this be happening because of the light that is inside heats up the glass and the coldness outside makes it fog up??? Like what happens when your car fogs up???
Or could it be caused by condensation because moisture might be inside the guage???

If it was me id take the gauge back and tell them to replace it or refund it
A gauge shouldnt bloody fog up
u shouldnt have to open it up and spray crap on it....the spray on crap wears away and youll have to keep replacing it
My opinion

Could it even be that there's a slight leak inside the gauge, and air being pumped from the engine is fogging it up... just a thought

Yeah i recon there must be some kind of leak inside it eh... and the heated air / moisture from the manifold is getting through the mechanism and onto the glass face of the guage.
I think a short trip to the importers is indeed in order. Pitty its out of warranty... Ill have to see how much of a storm i can talk up
Cheers for the advice eveyone.
