Aussie Exhausts Dump pipe + connector pipe - info ?

Just need some clarification
Looking on Aussie exhausts site atm at their 3 inch dump pipe + connector pipe
I see on their dump pipe you can get a second O2 sensor - whats the need for this , and also on the connector pipe they have it with or without a highflow catalytic converter
My gt4 has a Cat back system already in place so i need everything forward of there to complete the setup it SHOULD have
Remember ive just stepped up from a pre-Emmissions control pig of a carby fed ta22 to something a hell of a lot more modern so all this sort of stuff is new to me engine wise
You would need the pipe with the cat. You would be liable for a very hefty fine if u were caught without a cat. I personally think that although the Aussie products are very good, they are very much overpriced.
Who else by knowelege makes an off the shelf dump pipe for them ? Any ideas ?
re cat - checked on that today with my friends at vicroads - and had it confirmed - so GT will have a cat - just a highflow unit to match in with the rest of the piping
you can have a specialist exhaust place custom make a dump-pipe... but finding someone to do it at a reasonable price will be hard
aussie exhausts do some good work but are a little pricey
their ceramic (?) coated dump-pipe is worth getting though (i have one on mine)
the second oxy sensor place is not necessary... it lets you have another sensor for more gadgets... eg. you could wire in an egt gauge probe in that hole etc... unless you specifically need it for something dont bother
ok if your current system is cat-back then to install the dump pipe you will need to remove the cat... to comply with regulations you will need to then install a hi-flow cat into the exhaust
is it 3" already?
ok... if it was me... i'd take off the cat/turbo elbow/exhaust
buy the aussie dump-pipe
install it with a new gasket (it will be a bit of a bitch because its a very tight fit and may require the air-con compressor and alternator to come off - get a shop to do it if you cant be bothered)
take it to your local performance exhaust shop (with the old exhaust if its 3") and get them to make up a 3" mandrel bend system from the dump-pipe back and including a hi-flow cat
(he may be able to use part of the old exhaust if it is 3" and in good condition - this will save you a little cash)
