Ok Ok, The new 3T-G has made a meal of the stock 3 speed auto box so I am going to put a manual in it.
I do have a T50 that I can rebuild but are there any other options availible to me?
Does a W55 or W58 bolt up to the 3T block?
What I want is ease of conversion and strengh of a manual box.
Cost is a minor hassel.
Your imput would be appriciated.

You may find that the gearstick won't be in the right place and the driveshaft may need to be altered.

u cannot use the T50 bellhousing with the W55/58 so u need to source either a rare 3T/W55 bellhousing or a 1G/W58 bellhousing (requires some mods)
and then tailshaft may be a problem

Thus source it from:

As I mentioned.

but will a W55 box bolt up to the 3T?
and is it true that I can use the auto crossmember and tailshaft for this box?
How strong is the W55?

Rob, what mods are required to fit a 1G bellhousing to the 3T?
