Does anyone know how to identifie what gearbox I have in my EH externally..( any marks,part numbers.)??

How about some pointers:
auto/manual
4 or 5 speed
steel/alloy main case
etc...
That said, I'll bet my left one it's a W50 ('steel case Celica 5 speed) if it's behind a Holden donk.

The one in the picture is a W58! Just make sure yours has the steel sandwich plate.

OK all alloy case. Steel sandwich plate or alloy?
Steel sandwich plate = W58
Alloy sandwich plate = W55/7 - count overdrive to see which one you have.

Yes, with a 2JZGE-W58 bellhousing. Get one from an SC300 or a manual 2JZGE JZA80.
