Anyone have any good or bad news about Hurricane Extractors, i got some about 4 months ago and after one month the welding on them cracked and so under warranty i got another new set which now have also started to crack in the same spot, is this a common thing? does anyone think its possible to get my money back or will i just have to keep getting new extractors put on under warranty every time they crack? because its a real pain in the arse trying to find time to get my car in to get them replaced

I had Hurricane extractors on my 18RG RA28. They were awesome, big pipes, thick metal and good welding. But that was about 8 years ago, they have probably relaxed their standards since then.
I would be very surprised if they gave you a refund, I would just keep taking it back and getting them replaced. They will figure out soon enough that they are selling shit and fix the problem.

its on my charade, 2inch all the way through, extractors crack where the two pipes go into one, on the engine side.
don't know weather i should put a flex joint in or not, think it would stop them from cracking?

If you've got a FWD car without a flex joint, you'll always have issues... Think about what happens to the exhaust every time you let the clutch out!
