Conversion to EFI is the main reason..... (I think)!

just contact regency, they'll be able to tell you. i know the swap to the 4age doesnt need engineering, but not sure of the 20valve, gze will need engineering.

Technaically speaking all 4AC to 4AGXX upgrades need to be engineered as they breach the 30% power increase rule.... however most (in NSW at least) can be passed with a simple change of engine number.. its up to the person that checks the engine really, most will see the 4A and say its the same so long as you dont tell them the power figures and if you get caught and forced to provide a power figure it comes back on the person who passed it in the first place ... at that point you just play dumb and sue the certifier
