is this possible without to much mdification, as i can get the setups for free, its just that if i cant use them then they are no good.

It's all a bit too different. Not realy a conversion anyone has considered. The struts off the GT4 are a bit different as they are for FWD. The brakes could posiably be used on a TA22 strut, with modification, but not the most suitable. You would be better to get RA60 or Cressida struts and brakes to play with.

with the other struts/brakes you mentioned, what sort of mods am i looking at for installation????

TA22 brake upgrades have been covered a BAZILLION times on this forum. Try doing a search!

If you can't use the parts, & they're the twin piston setup, look in Parts for Sale:
FS: 2 spot calipers & pads
there's a guy with an ST162 who mighgt be interested in buying them off you.
