I was wondering if anyone could give me fill specs. of the 1jz 2.0 and 2.5L specs. as a mate wants to sell me his 2.0l 1j without compueter and blown turbo seals..for about $1300

But i dont know what motor to go for as i want a look at standard specs of both motors..

The 1JZ-GTE is a 2.5 litre engine; there is no 2.0 litre version. If it is a 2.0 litre six it would be a 1G-GTE, which is a completely different engine. You'd better tell us which one it is before we can give you specs!

A 1jz with blown turbo's would not be worth much at all. $800 or less.

i do know of someone who has a genuine low K 1jz for sale . though he (seriously) wants $2500 for it. it includes a manual ecu and loom. The motor has done a genuine 23000k'ms and was only the second 1jz halfcut brought into Ausralia, it has been disassembled and inspected then lovingly reassembled ready to be used in a 600hp application. He is only selling because research has shown that hte single turbo 1jz has a stronger bottom end and will be better in this application.

So if you are serious about geting yourself a good engine
this is the one for you.

Matt

yep
2.0 litre engine is a 1g-gte.

and $1300 will almost get you an entire working half-cut of a 1G-gte

after a search, taken from the thread "length of 1jz and 1g"

1jz is 730-750mm
1g is 620mm (give or take 15 mm)

this is measured from back of block to front of pulleys
