U recon?
I love the nove, but all my mates are getting ae86s and rear wheels except one of them!
I would love to GZE the nova, also make him a toyota in the process!
Toyota Nova! hehe
But how good is the ke20!
weighs in at like 720 kilos if iam right!
Spose i have to be happy with what i can afford!
GZE and 20v are sorta same price hey!
What goes better and whats easier to modify for
price-vs-performance?

I think so!
I need some serious beef in it!
I am thinking posponing it for 1/2 the year and doing up the nova first!
Then buy a KE20 and shove in a tubbed motor and 3rd party it through.......I know there is a insurance company which insures turboed cars!!!Simmons i think!
I would rather do up the KE20 to the best of its ability!
New Lime Green paint job! 2 tone
Body kit (if there is one)
17"x7"s
Recaros front and rear
Weight reduction
new interior
etc!
Prob looking at $12000
So in thinking about it, i would rather buy a ke20 now, and save up for the long haul to make it F$@ING OWESOME!!!!!!!

No offence, but the idea of an 18 year old with a high-powered KE20 really scares me. Hell, a high-powered KE20 scares me regardless! Perhaps I'm getting old, but my advice is to keep your mods sensible to begin with (eg 4A-GE conversion), then once you're used to it think about upgrading.
In all seriousness, if I had a high-powered car (like my Supra) when I was 18, I'm fairly certain I would have killed myself. Inexperience and power is not a good mix!

In a few years then yeah of course!
But i need the money first to get the car up to scrap!

ummm
18year old + highly modified car = no comprehensive insurance
as soon as you say you changed the motor, they say bugger off. Doesn't really matter if turbo or not, the fact you have put a more powerful motor in it.

You know you are in a high risk category, male, new to driving, want to go fast.....
If you want to be insured, you are going to pay thru the neck for the privelege of them paying you when you have a prang...
A slightly different approach...
Definitely get 3rd party property ( so you don't end up paying for any expen$ive damage to someone elses new type car for the next few years)...yes it happened to me..
Get the car you want (preferably medium sized, so you are more likely to survive, if you have a prang, the life you save may be your own.
Drive safe, think ahead all the time, learn how to panel beat:-)

Why does everyone think if you have a fast car, u always will crash it????
I think u have a fast car, something u have spent alot of time on and watched mature over the years almost like the love of your life, then u love it too much so u wont be stupid and try and drag everyone, or take corners too fast and end up in the middle of a hospital bed!
