Hi all,
You may wonder why a BMW owner is posting on a Toyota forum??
I think the subject may give it away.
Any how, Does anyone have a 1JZ-GTE engine manual??
If so, or if anyone else knows, I need the tightening torque for the flywheel bolts, crank pulley, cam pulleys, etc...
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that Wastegate. Most useful.
I've been taking photos through out the conversion.
Working on brakes, driveshaft, fuel system & electrics at the mo.
When its done i'll be able to put a web page together so you all can have a look.

Crank-Crank pulley = 329 ft lb (This is not a misprint, these buggers are FT)
Cam shaft-Cam pulley = 59 ft lb
Crank-Flywheel = 36 ft lb + 90 degrees

Need More??? I have them all

BTW: Glenn, that gearbox you have is a W58 from a NA 1J. the easy way to tell a W58 from a R154 is the reverse light switch is on the left hand side on a W58.

Thanks Pete. Could you scan in the document you have with the torque figures on it. Also do you know the sequence for undoing & doing up the head, and the torque figures.

Thats interesting about the gearbox.
Does any body know the ratios for a W58??
