1GGTE or Supercharge 18RGEU

Hi,
I'm new and have a few questions on a planed RA28GT conversion. (Just to make sure, I have done several searches here on the forum, and it was very helpfull, as well as the tech articles, that's why I have only some more spezific questions )
I thought of a 1GGTE or a 18RGEU and Supercharge it. As far as I can see, the 1GGTE would have the better money vs hp ratio, but I don't like the idea of cuting the floor plan for the 1GGTE gearbox (and modify the gearbox mounting) due to some law restriction up here. I've heard of a certain gearlever assembly that would line up with the original hole, it should bold up on W55/7/8 gearboxes, does somebody know what that would be (some truck, if I do renember properly? )
Could the F303 lsd hold up to the power and tourgue of the 1GGTE?
I like the idea of switching Supercharger on or off (off for better fuel economy, on for more fun) and the car would still run an 18RG engine, but it would need a better clutch. Does Centerforce Duals could to the job, or maybe hks heavy duty clutchs?
Could I run a 3TGTE Ecu+AFM on supercharged 18RGEU with good results? If so, does anybody got a tip where to get them? Sorry for that question, but I'm not familiar with EFI (at least with Toyota EFI's ). What about additional fuel injection, would it be any good to run 2 additional injectors after the intercooler to provide proper air/fuel ratio when Supercharger is on? Thought of that as a possibility, as the 18RGEU unit does run all injectors at the same time as I heard (thou i would think factory is running quit rich which could balance little differences in air supply )
Does anyone has experience in this, would someone think there's a high risk of runing one (or more) cylinders to lean?
These should be enough for know, looking forward to your responses, thanks, Gregor.

many guys on the forum have been pushing big HP/Torque thru F series diffs
paul has a beastial 7M-GTE running thru one and norbie has got a 2JZ-GTE running thru one, they seem to be having no troubles with them, of course its all a matter of how u drive...
so your running a MA45 disc brake live axle rear end in that RA28? thats a rare chunk of steel, many celica guys on this forum would like to get their hands on your rear end... haha no pun intended

Since when do you have to cut the floorpan to install a 1G gearbox? Just get a box with the correct gear lever position and you won't have to cut a thing!

When you say you're doing an RA28GT conversion, does that mean you own a GT RA28?????? If so, I'd keep it original....
If not, I'm assuming that means you're making an LT look like a GT. In that case I'd go the 18rg because this engine actually came out in the RA28 GT.

I wouldn't be too worried about getting a box with the right shifter position to begin with, because it's so easy to swap shifters later on. Just go to the wreckers and grab one off an RA60 Celica (I think they have the forward shifter position) and bolt it on!

or depending... it may be better to have a more rearward position, I know in the 28 I actually like having the shifter a little further back as I am 6'4 and need the seat back a bit for my legs and having the shifter a little bit more further back helps for shifting into the top gears.

Thanks to all ,
thanks blaze, have seen that that before, but forgot were! will try to contact bluewire, that's a damn good looking engine bay, I wish mine would be anything like that...
thanks rob, will check the link, and the diff's a F313 , sorry for that, but it was late... and maybe I got one beer to much, or was I one short , so, will it stand the power figure of a 1GGTE?
thanks norbie, yeah I thought of getting the right gear lever assembly, that's why I asked if anyone know what that would come from- Ra60 are rare over here, but will try to get it if needed, thanks for that,- sorry if that wasn't clear to my explanation...
thanks Trent, got an original GT, original rust etc.. (car will get a restoration over the next years, as the structure is quite good, but the removable parts and some smaller points...) that's one reason why I want to stay with things that can be taken back if I want to... do to our law restriction the car will be in original condition (besides the brakes) when facing its 30's year after building, but till then I got some space for more power. The car was original fitted with the 18RG, the 18RGEU I found for a reasonable price at a import wrecker and it will be shipped to me, as soon as I'm sure what to get (and got the money... ah ), same wrecker offering the 1g, would like to get both... wouldn't cost more shipping, but can only run one engine at time... original engine will get prof. rebuild... what did I say about the money
thanks Luke, I'm a shorty, so the shifter in front position will be ok for me, or I will work something out to put him slightly back wards. Besides, nice looking car, like that blue color
