Fuel Filter Question Mon, 02 June 2003 02:27 Go to next message
I need to replace my fuel filter, and a trip to Repco the other day scared me a little. 76 Bucks!

Would something like this work as a good alternative?

How fussy do I have to be?

Any will do, go to another non genuine parts place and ask them to look up their catalogue for you, it shouldn't be more than $30 at absolute most for EFI filter.

Go to your nearest Toyota dealer, get a price from them and then you'll realise that Repco is actually quite cheap Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy ...

I know Toyota are expensive, but seeing as I bought the filter for my friends AE92 Corolla for about $36 at Repco I was taken aback at the asking price for mine, ie, $76

Must be some kind of joke. I won't go to Toyota, but I was looking at those filters on eBay. Attaching them might be a hassle though. I am going to shop around someplace else before I dive in and fork out an ridiculous sum for a stupid filter. Any suggestions of where to look?

Thanks Smile
