I've seen some that have the little meter at the bottom of the display whereas mine doesnt. Does anyone know if the different digital displays between Soarers are interchangable?

The V8 models have the extra part you are talking about. The turbo models do not. They are not interchangeable, because the V8 ECU is different to the turbo 6 for obvious reasons.

The ones i've seen have been on 2.5 twin turbo models, the same as mine, but the limited versions, with woodgrain, traction control, different seats and suspension, and auto headlights and wipers. Where mine as the display showing what gear its in theirs have something else.

Really? Hmm...I was under the impression that the combination meter was only on the V8 models, as I have never seen it on a turbo model before.
Do you have a pic ?

They're common on both TT and V8, but probably only on the Limited TT model as ytri stated - when I was shopping for a Soarer I drove quite a few Auto TTs with then as well as V8s.
Mine being a manual does not have the LCD combo meter on the bottom of the digi-dash.
The models/spec may have changed over the life of the xZZxx Soarer resulting in addition/deletion in comparable trim specs.

So maybe it could be possible to swap the displays if the extra sensors/circuitry/ etc, were also added? Would the ECU from a TT with the meter be the same as the ECU from a TT without it??

No idea if they are interchangeable as I've not had one with a combo meter apart. I've had mine apart and it does have all the usual lights for ABS, TRC, PRND2, etc that is not applicable to my model and there was an empty area where the combo meter would normaly be as well as numerous wired sockets on the back that were not used on mine.
If someone who buys a Soarer front cut just for the drivetrain puts the Digidash up for sale on the forum - i'd be keen to buy it just for a spare as they very expensive from wreckers should it fry.
