Hi Guys
Looking to get a cat-back exhaust for my 91 Corolla Seca SX (4AGE 100KW). I rang around to get a few quotes today.
$280 for a 2" sports system
$320 for a 2.25" sports system
both systems include a 4" chrome dump pipe at the rear and fitting.
The engine is completely stock except for a K&N Filter. I have had differing opinions about the size I should use on the car. I know the 2.25" system will give more sound but is necessarily better for the car? I want to hopefully gain some power rather than loose power.
Any opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

FLYNSX
Is a 2.25inch system quite loud? Don't want to get defected for the exhuast being too loud. But I enjoy the sound of a deep sounding exhaust system. The system that will be installed is made by Redback (mild steel) - 1 muffler with 1 resonator.
Will I be loosing power by going 2.25 inch? Hopefully I will be converting to a 4AGZE motor later down the track but in the mean time I want the engine to be making more power with more sound.
