modifying outlet pipe on gze supercharger and piping...

i still havent front mounted my cooler as i was contemplating doing it myself but now im not so sure. people with gze sprinters, do you leave the outlet pipe of the supercharger stock or do you have it cut and shut so its pointing forward? it looks like it cant just be unbolted and turned 90 degrees forward from what i cant tell. or do people run BOTH intercooler pipes to the passenger side of the car and use an intercooler with the inlet and outlet on the same side?
OR do people just put a 180 degree bend pipe after the outlet pipe so that they can run pipes to either side of the front or the car and use a straiight through intercooler?
i hope that is clear to people. please help!
thanks, kevin.

i was lucky enough to buy my gze with the outlet pipe mod already done, mine faces foward, should not be too hard to have done at a metal/alloy fabricators, original outlet is cut off and sealed up.
currently in the process of redoing my pipe work, but i have a pipe running from each side, all really depends on what intercooler you are going to use.

hmm... may have to get it modified, damn being poor. or maybe i could run both pipes to the passenger side but then you have the problem of extra pipe length and possibly extra lag.
Ribbo, i had a 'basic' tune done by adam from haltech just to get it drivable but it runs really rich (he did it on prupose rather than having it run lean) and stalls when cold. i still need another muffler put in for engineers, an o2 sensor fitting put in so adam can do a proper tune with air/fuel meter, need a front mount, new air filter and an engineers. but with all that aside im still damn happy with it, having gone from 4ac. i cant give a comparison to ge tho cause i havent driven a ge sprinter.
oh yeah its off the road atm with the dash out cause the alarm i installed had a faulty siren driver and had to be sent to melbourne, further slowing my progress

If you are trying to do it on the cheap at the moment, just do whatever you need to to get it working then fix it when you can afford it. Sure it may be a bit more laggy or restrictive, but at least you'll be on the road.
Having the stock piping changed is a pretty good idea in the long run since it is twisty as hell once in a Sprinter.

yeah im still tossing up whether or not to buy some stainless steel pipes, rubber joiners and hose clamps and do it myself or take it to an exhaust shop or something. my main concern is the outlet pipe and getting the pipes past the radiator as there seems to be JS room and i know i have to cut out some metal but you have to go pretty low as to avoid the headlight mounting bracket.
