5me -> 5mge?

how hard is it?
can i just bolt the 5mge head on to it?
what parts need to be change to 5mge parts too?
I think i need to use 5mge ECU, will it be ok to use the 5me loom on it?

1) Not worth the effort.
2) No.
3) All the parts you require will be on an intact 5MGE.
4) Depends on whether you buy an analogue or digital ECUed 5MGE. If it is analogue, you can just plug it in and play. Otherwise you will need to swap all the sensors from the 5ME on to the 5MGE and modify the 5MGE dizzy.

Not worth the effort? If we're talking about swapping the whole engine I'd say it's definitely worth it! But if we're talking about putting a GE head on a 5M-E block, then no, not worth the hassle.

Definitely worth changing engines from 5ME to 5MGE, but reading the post I got the impression he wanted to just 'bolt on' the GE head, in which case, definitely NOT worth the effort. Much better to drop the whole 5MGE in - less work, less fuss, more fun.
Sorry if I misunderstood or wasn't entirely clear in my point form explanation.
