I am in Brisbane for work all this week and driving around in a little f*#d laser automatic rent-a shopping trolley.
Anyhow I am getting really bored driving the f%@d and I had a daydream, where I am driving the celica and lined up between a bogon mobile and a ricer. Natrully I blitzed them . You always do in a daydream.
Anyhow it got me thinking, how fast/slow are these lasers. I was anticipating a 15-20 second 0-100, cos it felt more like 30 seconds.
The results were surprising, 0-100km/h in 12 seconds flat. Pretty impressive for a shopping trolley.

Was it one of the new Lasers? I rented one of those.
You step on the accelerator and it sorta surges forward a bit then the acceleration doesn't change.... hehe

Yup it is one of the new ones.
It drives a little like me in the morning, the alarm goes off and I jump, then everything happens in slow motion until the first cuppa coffee.

Witzl, I would agree with you but with the MA61 front end in my celica, it isn't much better than the Laser
The laser actually seems to stick quite well for a shopping trolley.

Yeah. Wasn't bad. The suspension is quite firm considering that it's a shopping trolley.
Tail likes to come out, as is the wont of light FWD cars.
The headlights were really good! Especially the high beam!
