Installing Boss Kit in ST184 Fri, 06 June 2003 04:27 Go to next message
Heeey!
I just bought a BOSS KIT for my 1991 ST184 Celica. I don't have a wheel for it yet but will be getting one over the next few days.

I was just wondering if somebody could explain in detail, how i remove the old wheel and install the new one. I figure it can't be that hard (i could be wrong). I searched for a tutorial on the internet and came up with nothing.

Is it an identical process for just about any car, or is it specific for certain cars?

Thanks alot

Isaac

Take the front of your steering wheel of (it will either have screws on the back or screws somewhere on it if not you can prolly rip it off Laughing )

There will be a big nut in the middle that holds the steering wheel on take it of then pull your old steering wheel off put the boss kit on screw it on (the nut in the middle) put your new steering wheel on (make sure its nice and tight) thats prolly the hardest part getting it to line up with the boss kit.

hey presto new steering wheel - its pretty easy.

I put mine on the corona my old steering wheel looked like it came of a tractor Confused
