4agze converson

just did a gze converson the harness and ecu was origonaly automatic. now i am trying to start the car and i dont know if i can cut the neutral switch wire at the computer or what? can anyone help?

I wasn't aware that any 4agze's came with autos??

I wasn't aware that the AE92 or AE101 GZE's ever came in auto... I'm not sure about the MK1 MR2

Is the problem that it won't start? I did a auto to manual conversion and afterwards couldn't start the car... Figured out that the switch that stops the car from starting unless it's in park was stopping it... so i just bridged those 2 wires... Not sure if this is what the problem ur describing is tho...

actually very few mr2's came in automatic. i already figured it out, now i am having an oil leak problem that i cant seem to pinpoint. i will get it sooner or later.

Welcome to the club! I think just about every 4AG has a leak! I'm trying to track down all leaks on my 236K mile SC.
Where are you located in TN?

it was the 2 wires. i found where they were, bridged them, and it cranked right up. thanks guys
