Hi everyone, I need help, i'm trying to take off my twin sidedraft solex of my 2tgeu. i wnat to put a single carby instead coz i'm selling my ra63 and the twin carb just too good to let go. is there a intake manifold and single carb out of another toyota that can be fitted with less hasle??
No. The 2T-G cylinder head has a different inlet manifold bolt pattern to the 2T/3T, so you can't use the 2T/3T manifold. The only ones that will fit are your twin sidedraught manifold, or the 2T-GEU EFI manifold.
you can get something like a single weber/solex siddraft manifold to suit from redline - they cost about 250 odd i think - just look up redline manifolds on the net - Suppliers in Sydney
Im running a 45mm weber on my 2t-B and its a very good setup - all bolt on and you can get the linkage kits to suit as well for about 80 dollars - once again - everything you need to get the fcarb running and hooked up comes in the kit
