Can anyone tell me how cams are measured?
eg: Inches,Millimetres or what ever?

Lift is usually measured in mm or inches (more specifically thousandths of an inch), whilst duration is measured in degrees.
One can also measure the duration at a particular lift (usually 50 thousandths of an inch) so that different cam profiles can be compared.
