I was told that the earlier model ae92's had bigger pulleys on the supercharger than the late ae92 and the ae101's. Is that why the AFM models had less power than the other ones which were MAP?
I have the AFM 4agze, is there any reason why i cant get the smaller pulley from the later models and fit it so i get more boost?
yes the later 4agze's have a smaller pulley on the s/c. they also have higher compression ratio, and a crank angle sensor, smallport head etc..
why not just get a larger crank pulley if you are after more boost?
it would probably be easier to find and buy a larger crank pulley than a later model s/c pulley unless you buy a later model s/c.
