Has any one researched TRD internals or engine parts for the 1ggte,

do any of these parts still exist ?

can any other engine components be swapped in?

do a set of off the shelf manifolds exist?

blow off valves, waste gates, pods ..etc etc.. anything really!

I think that the insides of a 1G and a 4A are very similar, maybe there are some interchangable parts

Yeah don't quote me on that. They were designed about the same time and with similar design outlines, I think the valves are interchangeable but don't try putting a 4A crank in a 1G

Razz clearly the engines are different, however like you said if they were being made around the same years, hopedfully TRD developers didnt over look the truck engine at the same time.

Personally I havent seen much evidence of aftermarket goodies, but then again its not the most popular engine to reap BIG power, most of those concerned would have gone with the 1J...

Jus more concerned with building a bullet proof engine to match the sprinters, hence the name.... Smile
