Flutes air filters

i want to put indivisual sock filters on my twin side draft 44mm maybe 40mm solex carbs do i need to buy something to make them stay one?? i have the socks thanks.

After you put the socks on your trumpets, zip tie the filters in place. Unifilter have an 'easy release' zip tie, so if you buy those don't cut them.

Same place you got the air filters. If they don't have them, then they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

ok i got them from repco , they will have to order special ones for solex carbs wont they.

These flutes, trumpets, air horms, ram tubes, velosity stacks you talk of, are the same or similar for many sidedraft carbs. One brand you can get are Redline. This is what I have. Redline 40mm OD ram tubes. They come in 2 lengths, I have short due to little clearance on the 2T-G. Filters are Redline also. You can buy long or short, for 40mm or 45mm carbs.

Pretty much what Johnny2TG said. I wouldn't be surprised if Repco don't stock trumpets - you may be forced to go to a performance store to buy them. There may be a Weber specialist up where you are that stocks them.
