Does anyone know how to pull the rotors off? or pull the distributor apart. I am having some difficultly. I undo the bolt on the rotor button but the thing won't come off?
Yeah we drilled out the pin through the gear, knocked the gear off. Then was able to drive the whole shaft up out of the dizzy housing. Hacked/grinded the weights off, welded the bottom and top half of the shaft together so it couldn't move around. Put back into the housing and made up a new pin to hold the gear on.
Not sure if there is easier ways or not.. But this method did work. Assuming you never want to use the weights again!
