hi
i have my water pump off now so i will take a picture to see if yours is the same. My 1jz is out of a jzx90 chaser. what is yours out of? In mine, the power steering pump runs off the fan belt and we presumed that the water pump was running off the timing belt but it is actually on the same shaft as the power steering pump which is located directly infront of it. I should have a pic up by tomorrow night.

also, does anyone know if a 1g-gte water pump would fit?

thanks
chris

dude, the serpentine belt runs:
water pump (which includes hydraulic pump for Fan)
altenator
p/steer pump
and a/c compressor
the one i have is a jzx90 water pump.
the p/steer pump is just under the intake manifold

i am just trying to make sure that yours is the same as mine as i don't want to buy it and then find out that it does not fit. So...yours shouldn't have a pulley on the front of it then? mine has a flat part on the front which connects to some pump infront of it (not sure as some have been taken out that are not being used) and the pump infront has the pulley on it which is run by the front belt. Is yours the same as this? does it work? do you know how many kms? thanks

chris
