OUCH, i think you will have to go a little lower than 5-6 grand for something like that, no doubt its a great motor and you spent heaps, but its alota cash for what it is.

Hard to say.. I have the same motor and alot of money has gone into both.. Especially with custom manifolds etc.
You definatley wont get your money back, thats why you only modify a car/motor if your going to keep it
Id guess around 2/3000 just as an approximate..

well i got quoted 4k for a 4agte but this included install and engineering. So i think sprinta is right at 2-3k.
I'd buy it for 2k

You were quoted 4k for install of what exactly?
My engine isnt just a bolt on turbo and thats it, Im talking selling with Front mounted intercooler and piping, Further headwork to the big port head, cams, Aftermarket ECU, Turbosmart bov, Bleedvalve, Custom 3litre intake plenum modeled from gtr intake, custom exhaust manifold to T3 Flange which a rb20 t28 highflowed turbo with steel wheels sits off, custom mounted coils, front mounted oil cooler, braided lines, and other goodies including selling with a full 3 inch exhaust. It sits waiting for the boost to be upped to punch out some big figures. So if you go quoted 4k for that, ill take 2!
2k for that? you get a stock gze for 1200 or so, so you would be dreaming!

mine was quoted for a 4agte conversion, with front mount, t28, exhaust etc. So main difference would be the plenum and ecu. It's like everything though i said 2-3k i reckon 3k would be a max asking price in my opinion. Like most things it's only worth what someone will pay for it. I'm doing a 3tgte conversion as it's a bit cheaper

i suppose, i was just interested to see what someone would pay for it, and another difference was highflowed steelwheel turbo, thats a bit pricey

it's always hard to sell an engine for a car that never really sells for much, i'm in the same situation at the moment. Doesn't matter how much you spend you rarely get what you want. Personally i think your engine is damn nice, the 2k was one of those "im dreaming". Good luck with the sale though.

I was just stating a fact.
Imsure if he sells it for 2 or 3 thousand that he will have no troubles selling it at all.
Just if he chooses to sell it for a lil less than that i know someone who will pick it up that day, that is all.
