varying revs at idle

hey guys
recently over the last few months i have noticed that my car varies revs at idle.
when slowing down to a stop the car will drop revs to about 600rpm and start to idle rough then jump back up to idle at around 800rpm. it idles jsut a tad rougher now.
it never used to do this. i dont have the AC on or anything else when it happens
could it be a dirty fuel filter?
car in question is a 96 camry V6

try it with you foot of the brake - reason is most toyotas efi systems are tied into the brake light switch and has been know to cause such symtoms as this b4

i realise that you want it make to norm. that is why i ask if it does it with the brake on and off, to eliminate the possibility of it being related to the brake light switch

sounds like it could be a vacume leak pour some water around the inlet mainifold around gaskets and injectors see if it stops or runs really bad if so u found the leak

In most cases it should be the brake booster. On idle does it miss? cause if it does check the plugs and leads.

its in a widebody camry 94 and i have put a 3SGTE motor in i have half a truck intercooler that i might put in if i keep it. man if ya fuel filter was blocked the revs wouldnt go up high it would stop u definatly have a vacum leak see if u can here a sucking noise around inlet manifold when u put ya head close or try the water works every time!
p.s u know anyone that would want to buy my car?
