Is this new layout here to stay or is it just on trial?? 
When I first loaded the page this afternoon my first thoughts were someone was trying make Toymods look bigger than it actually is 
I can understand the idea of "The Outhouse" and separating it from the "General Car Talk" but I myself much preferred the old "General Discussions" section. Is there any other reasons why it was done this way?
Anyway I just wanted to say I like the old layout better. 
Maybe this new look might grow on me, but I think the old style was much neater.
I do like the "Members Rides" section.

The forums are run by the Toymods Car Club and consequently we want the focus to be on cars or on the club.
To foster the feeling of community we still wanted an outlet in which people could be social.
So as not to detract from the car and on-topic content a seperate section was created for this reason.

The email has reverted back to it's original behaviour with the upgrade, I'm looking at fixing it soon.
The way it works is, after you visit a thread or post, the next time somebody replies you'll get an email notification, however you won't get any after that *UNTIL* you actually visit the thread again. Then next time someone posts, you'll get another email until your next visit, etc, etc.
This works pretty well when you're only being emailed a text message saying someone has responded to your thread, however with the forums set up to send the actual post text in the email, it doesnt work as well, since you can read the reply in the email without actually visiting the board...
I'll get on to it soon... in the meantime... patience...

yeah i cant get the attached pics to work or get any replys in threads i have made posts in.
oh and i too liked the old format of the forums prolly cause i am not used to the new one.

have you upgraded the server hardware or just the forums software.. because it doesnt seem to handle heavy loads that well.

I'm being patient about email notifications, in the meantime, I seem to be missing the link to the subscribed topic in the email, requiring a click on 'reply' to go and visit all the unread posts.

I *may* have fixed the emailing (not that it was ever broken, just not functioning the way we like it!). Someone let me know if it hasnt been fixed, or worse, broken something.

When I'm browsing the forums and go to reply, I sometimes find that I've been automatically logged out...
I dunno if it's my computer or the forums...
Has anyone else had this problem???

I couldn't access the forums betwwen friday night and sunday arvo because of "Untimely response - time out" at the toymods end. 
Obviously its sorted now or wouldn't be able to post this

hey sam,
i am using a friends account to post cause mine has been inactive for a total of a month, it said i was unauthorised or something. and now i cant reset my password cause it says the password key is invalid.
my login was devil rolla, and my passowrd was reset and now lost.
