wow clint that sounds like an awesome mustangback!! Sounds like a lot has been spent on it, and it would be a fun car to drive. I would buy it straight away, but would fall a couple of grand short of what your asking !!
Anyway hope you sell it for a good price. I'm sure you won't have much trouble, RA28s are rare over here, especially with massive turbos on them!

Yep, thanks Rob, I'll kinda miss nailing a Gen 3 "Commode" around and out of a corner, but I have other priorities at the moment. And for all those who've asked, yes it will take more boost and therefore deliver more power - it's simply a matter of turning the wick up!

No, I'll quite happily post the specs here - Standard internals with about 130 000km on the clock, total. Had good compression last time I did the test, but haven't done it for the last two years or so. Having said that, the car has only done about 100km (no, thats not a typo!), in that time. Turbo and manifold is brand new as is the oil inlet, return, and silicon water lines and has only done those 100kms too! Have run 12psi in it, but the standard CT20 turbo didn't like it so I sold it off before it knackered itself, hence the new T28 and bits and pieces.

I'd be interested, but afraid i'm somewhat short of your asking price, i'd only be able to offer $4-5000. Good luck nonetheless, if you do decide to help out a poor 17yr old bloke, feel free to contact me though
Good luck with the sale.

Ummmm, $7500 down to $5000, ..., Yep I'll consider your offer, however for that price, the car will come without motor and gearbox!!! Seriously, best of luck finding something in your price range,
Clint!

saw this car when i picked up my 5spd from him very clean and due to his mechanical knowledge you can be sure that theres nothing done half assed or bodged (like my car )
If i had the cash id buy it for sure but i all ready have a money pit, you try and build it for that price it wont happen.
bumpige!
(you'll have to give me a run before you sell it jk)
youd be silly to buy a stock fwd rolla for $7000 instead of this beast

Yep, thanks Adam. I'm in two minds with the car, do I do more to it or leave it? Most of the time it justs sits under the covers in the shed, hence the low number of Kms it racks up at the moment. Having said all that, I've just bought a disc brake F series diff, so will probably cut that down and install with an LSD to make it more tractable in the motorsport I do with it.

Yep, thanks Siggy, good to see you've decided to keep your project too. I pulled mine out of the shed on the weekend and took it for a run down to Fremantle (first time it's been out since early November!) - geez it's a fun car to drive!!!

Last bump for this car at this price. It's about to swallow an F series LSD with disc brakes, and a paint and panel refurbishment, so a new add will be posted with a revised price, later in the year!

>>>R3G<<<, original driveline was 18RC and W50 5 speed.
alwaysRA23, the car didn't need engineering when I originally built it here in WA. I asked what I'd need to do to keep it legal and was told if I wasn't increasing the engine capacity (I've actually decreased it by 230cc), all I would need would be a change of engine number form. They said if I wanted to, I could take it over the pits, but this was not neccessary. This gives you some idea as to how long ago I did the conversion, you wouldn't get away with this today (conversion was done approximately 8-9 years ago - I've owned the car for the last ten years)!!! Won't give you a price with new LS Diff and paint refurb, as I've not done them yet. Based on the way I've built it and the fact it was done legally and is still registered in WA, I've also been told all other state rego authorities will accept it's registration without problems.
cozzb, Yes will consider selling the car as a rolling shell, as I also have someone interested in the motor package at the moment too.
