Quick specs - 1UZ-FE Vs 7M-GTE Wed, 18 June 2003 23:49 Go to next message
Guys, I need stock power/torque figures for the 7M-GTE in stock trim.
Also, I need to know if this engine came in an MA70 Supra with the same differential as was behind a 7M-GE I suspect this to be the case, but need it confirmed by the Supra die-hards.
For comparison's sake, 1UZ's figures are as follows:

Power: 195KW
Torque: 353NM

Less on both counts.

All MA70's came with a G series diffs, but the ratios are different for NA and turbo models.

*scratches head* From this, am I to to take it that the 7M-GTE made:

236KW at 5600 RPM and,
253NM at 3200 RPM?

Surely that can't be right, can it? (Or am I reading it wrong?)

I'd say it's Hp as opposed to KW, and lb-ft instead of nm.

Yes, that would explain it...Can anyone do a quick conversion of hp to kw and ft/lbs to Nm? (just so that I can compare "apples with apples" Smile )

Thanks for the replies thus far...

236 Hp = 176 KW

i use the number 1.34

HP/1.34 = KW

KW x 1.34 = HP

so yeah

176 KW
