Still got the GTR cooler but its too damn hard to fit it with my trans and oil coolers in the way so I want a jzx81 cooler and pipes and fit it in the standard postition for now.
The car is running fine. I just need to get the speed sensor on the chaser dash hooked up.

Hmmmm ... interesting. My JZX-91 half-cut just arrived and the FMIC is TINY (no-where near the size of the JZA-71 style)!
Where therer different IC's on different spec. Chasers or did they just down-grade for the 91?
Just curious?

The later cars have got a much smaller, but much thicker cooler - they work sort of alrightish, but if any mods are planned, ditch it quick smart.

yes it is still for sale.
$400 for th lot intercooler, brackets and intercooler pipes and hoses.
also the pipes and hoses are in as new condition. and the intercooler is in very good condition.
and for who ever asked me, yes the 90mm thick GTR core is in and has been for 12 months, and it is working really well.
thanks

No JZX-91? I'll take your word for it (I'm NO expert), but I could have sworn the papers in my glovebox (owners manual, Jap. rego. service rpts, etc) said JZX-91.
I guess I'll stand corrected ... though kind of curious about the logic behind Toyota model coding.

PS: Yes, I am having a slow day at work
PPS: At least I know enough to spot all the model code mistakes in the HPI Supra-Soarer magazine
