Hi all,
I own a KE25 corolla with a 4AGZE inside. I'm new to these engines, and also puzzled as to which version it is. I've heard there are like 5 versions? What does a MAP sensor look like/located and what does it do?
Well, to describe it abit, i have the Air Flow Meter attached to the air filter, twin coil packs, 4-2-1 extractors, a supercharger light on the dash and 'newer' looking top cover with the 'supercharger' font on it.
Has anyone got figures for these engines?
thnks

What happened if sombody just painted the cam covers that colour?
One way to tell the difference between a big port gze and a small port gze is whether or not it runs a dizzy. Small port gze came out with coil packs and crank angle scensors and somewhere along the line recieved the coated pistons. The gze with the dizzy was normally a big port and has semmiforged piston non oil squirter with 8:1 comp ratio ( lower than small port.

if it has the AFM with the twin coil pack then it's a bigport 8.0:1 compression 4agze. that type of ze came mostly from the Levin's.
