Yeah dude it works now
$12 later and the new rear uni is in.
And then for good measure:
# I fitted a set of H1 High beams. (just 55 watts one for now.... even if one lens has bloody cracked already.... Damn bumpy bush track driveways....)
# Installed Globes for the brake lights and adjusted the toggle swicth on the peddle so they don't stay on all the time !.
# Interior light now works.
# Passenger door now opens form the inside
# Fitted the Drum shoe retain spring inside the rear drum
New Goldern Rule...... DO NOT buy a car from a mechanic !
Its actually going pretty well now But I still have alot I'd like to do.

Sweet... There's nothing wrong with buying a car from a mechanic... The only problem is it's a dodgy mechanic...

Due to a unplanned financial disaster. ( I lost my job 5 weeks ago) I am forced to list my newest toy up for sale.
I have a new re-cored radiator for it and and brand new rubber engine mounts for it that need to go in. The engine is actually in the engine bay on a slight angle so I was going to get the steel brackets redone before I put it back together. As she sits now I want $4000. (Already owes me more than that)
Once I get the mounts done it will be $4800 ono. (Cause then it drives and runs)
It really is an awesome old girl and i have sorted most of the minor issues it had when I bought it. It comes with an optional Hilux diff (in Pieces) and complete 3T-C (Needs to be picked up from Newcastle). I also have a downdraft weber carby and manifold, plus a few spares I have already picked up.
you can reach me on 0416 181 284 or via email on rod@toymods.org.au
Rego is till 25 June 2004 !

Michael, I'll drop you a line soon dude.
I am working on a day to day trial kinda arrangement at the moment so its noty all bad. It just really sux not knowing if you have a job or not. Especially with the mortgage repayments. But hey I didn't like my last job anyway.
And on the bright side I ahve been umming and arhing about working where I am at the moment for over 4 years. This way at least I get to find out if I like it and so far its been good. Only problem is I am surrounded by bloody Holdens !!
EvilJack,
Thanks mate. I don't really wanna sell it but its the most sensible option.
